JET-LOK III is a two-part, zinc-free epoxy featuring primarily non-metallic fillers, designed to permanently secure threaded connections under standard operating conditions. Available in both handy-pak and kit forms, it uses a new catalyst that enhances pot life and durability while reducing toxicity and heat generation, making it the ideal choice for various applications. This product is ideal for all threaded joints or fasteners that require a strong, lasting bond, particularly on drilling tools, casings, and other tubulars where preventing joint loosening is critical. Applications: JET-LOK III is perfect for casing, shoes, couplings, and collars, replacing the need for gas or arc welding. Unlike welding, threaded connections treated with JET-LOK III can be disassembled by heating to 550°F (288°C). It’s also excellent for any application needing a permanent bond with high vibration resistance. Its zinc-free formula enhances durability in wet environments.
